Two unifying events. One shared mission. A lasting impact on local healthcare.

On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, join us for a very special edition of the Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache’s Golf Master. This 32nd edition will also mark the Foundation’s 40th anniversary, a significant milestone that we will celebrate with a special tribute evening and a memorable anniversary banquet.

An evening led by those who have shaped our history

For this very special edition, we are proud to have Desjardins as the event’s Official Presenting Partner.

We are also honoured to be joined by three Honorary Co-Chairs who perfectly embody the history and commitment behind the Foundation: Dr. Paul-André Hudon, as well as Serge Langlois and his son, Pierre-Marc Langlois, from Groupe JCL.

Their involvement holds particular significance, as Jean-Claude Langlois, Pierre-Marc’s grandfather, was one of the Foundation’s co-founders, alongside Dr. Paul-André Hudon. Forty years later, their commitment continues through a new generation, highlighting the importance of philanthropy and community mobilization in supporting local health care.

Thank you to our Honorary Co-Chairs!

A story that began with an idea

For Dr. Paul-André Hudon, the story of the Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache began with an idea.

“It all starts with an idea! And the idea of creating a foundation came from Dr. Champlain Charest, a well-known radiologist who had himself been one of the pioneers behind the Fondation de l’Hôpital Saint-Luc.

He contacted me in my capacity as President of the Medical Council and we set out to convince the hospital’s Director General at the time, Me Michel Jutras. That is how the project began to take shape.

After several meetings, we agreed to establish a provisional committee to begin the process of obtaining a charter as a non-profit organization.

To the best of my recollection, the committee was made up of Ms. Ghislaine Tessier, myself, and possibly Ms. Blanchard.

Later, a former employee of the Fondation de l’Hôpital Saint-Luc came to serve as the first Executive Director of the Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache.

Then came the first Board of Directors and the first major fundraising activities, including the first fashion show, the first golf tournament and the other fundraising classics that helped the Foundation grow.

The Foundation was launched. The baby had grown!

Today, the 32nd golf tournament is a wonderful testament to the vitality of our Foundation and the strength of our community’s commitment, 40 years after its creation.

Long live the Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache!”

— Dr. Paul-André Hudon, Co-Founder of the Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache

A family legacy that continues

The Foundation’s story also continues through the Langlois family. Jean-Claude Langlois, Pierre-Marc’s grandfather, was one of the Foundation’s co-founders. His son, Serge, went on to continue this commitment to the community through the family business, which Pierre-Marc has now taken over.

Today, this family commitment takes on a new dimension as Serge and Pierre-Marc Langlois jointly accept the Honorary Co-Chairmanship of the Foundation’s 40th anniversary.

“Our connection to Hôpital de Saint-Eustache goes back to its early days, when my grandfather was one of its founders. My father then continued this commitment to our community through the family business, which I have now taken over. For us, accepting the Honorary Co-Chairmanship of the Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache’s 40th anniversary together therefore holds special meaning. It is a way to continue a family legacy while making a tangible contribution to ensuring that the hospital can continue to evolve with the needs of our region.

Hôpital de Saint-Eustache is one of those institutions that has been part of our community for generations.

We therefore sincerely want to thank everyone who has chosen to be part of this 40th anniversary celebration as part of the 32nd Master de golf, as well as the partners, donors and businesses who make it possible. Your presence today is already a form of commitment to our community.

For our family, this involvement is part of a long-standing legacy. We are very proud to be able to contribute to it today.”

— Serge and Pierre-Marc Langlois

Held at the prestigious Club de golf Le Mirage, this fundraising event will bring together partners, business leaders, health-care professionals and community members around a shared cause: supporting the improvement of health-care services in the Laurentians.

All proceeds will contribute to the acquisition of state-of-the-art medical equipment for Hôpital de Saint-Eustache.
