The Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache (FHSE) is excited to share the news of Mr. Pierre G. Mayer’s appointment as the Chairman of its 2021–2022 Board of Directors. Mr. Mayer was elected at the Annual General Assembly on April 26th, succeeding Mr. Jacques Pelletier, the Board’s Chairman since 2014 and Director since 2009.
Mr. Mayer is a member of the Quebec Bar and has been practicing in the Lower Laurentians since 1995. He has extensive experience in corporate law, commercial litigation, and taxation, and is currently a senior partner at TRIVIUM Avocats Notaires Conseils. Having lived in the region for over 23 years, Mr. Mayer is well acquainted with the Hôpital Saint-Eustache and its foundation, having served as a Director of the Board of Directors for the last 14 years.
Mr. Mayer is a philanthropist at heart and always eager to give back to others and his community. In addition, he has also been actively involved in the Executive Committee, including serving as Vice President since 2015. Moreover, he played an instrumental role as one of the founding members of Tourisme Basses-Laurentides (T.B.L.) and served as Chairman of the Board from 2000 to 2010. Apart from his professional pursuits, Mr. Mayer has also been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Centre de santé et des services sociaux (CSSS) du Lac-des-Deux-Montagnes and holds the position of President of the Chambre de commerce du Lac des Deux-Montagnes.
