The President’s Dinner fundraising campaign to support the Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache took place on Thursday, January 23, at Bistro MM Station Culinaire in Blainville. The charitable event generated a record net profit of $40,093.09! These funds will help to improve access to local healthcare for the residents of the Lower Laurentians and enable the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment for the Hôpital de Saint-Eustache.

The 5-course dinner, featuring carefully curated wine and cider pairings by sommelier Justin Thibault, was a big success this year. The event brought together 104 guests from the Lower Laurentians business community and medical staff from the Hôpital de Saint-Eustache. Attendees enjoyed a wonderful evening of delicious food and privately imported wines. Each guest received a gift bag from Co-operators, an all-Canadian financial services co-operative, as a token of appreciation. The bag included two wine spouts, four glass markers, and a bottle stopper.

The President’s Dinner, which aims to help people discover and support local restaurants, is held annually at a new venue in the Lower Laurentians. Additionally, a different sommelier showcases their finest wine selections to complement the menu.

Pierre Mayer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the FHSE and Senior Associate Lawyer at Trivium Avocats-Notaires-Conseils, expressed his delight at the success of this third edition and the enthusiasm it generated: “Seeing so many people attend this event year after year is an immense source of pride.
