7e festin terre et mer Version centre

Saint-Eustache, March 19, 2026 – This Wednesday marked the launch of the 7th edition of the Surf and Turf Feast, which will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, starting at 6:00 p.m., at the Centre culturel et communautaire Thérèse-De Blainville, located at 120 du Séminaire Blvd. in Sainte-Thérèse.

This benefit evening, in support of the Saint-Eustache Hospital Foundation (FHSE), is a festive gathering where businesses and citizens of the Basses-Laurentides region can come together for an all-you-can-eat lobster and beef buffet in a friendly and committed atmosphere.

The press conference was held at the offices of Desjardins, the event’s Presenting Partner, in the presence of some twenty guests, including several dignitaries, partners, and members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Among them, Mr. Benoît Proulx, Mayor of the Municipality of Saint-Joseph-du-Lac, and Mr. Jean Comtois, Mayor of the City of Lorraine—both Honorary Co-Chairs of this 7th edition—spoke to emphasize their commitment to the Foundation and the importance of supporting the Saint-Eustache Hospital. Eager to provide personal support to the Foundation, they will present their respective Co-Chairs’ challenges in a few days.

The Executive Director of the Saint-Eustache Hospital Foundation, Ms. Lyne Des Trois Maisons, highlighted the 40th anniversary of the FHSE, marking four decades of commitment to community health since its creation on October 6, 1986.

Driven by a record-breaking past year, the Foundation has planned commitments totaling $784,550 in 2026. These investments will notably allow for the acquisition of essential equipment for Intensive Care, the Emergency Department, and Outpatient Clinics, in addition to supporting initiatives dedicated to vulnerable populations.

Among recent achievements, the arrival of 28 new wheelchairs is already contributing to improved comfort, safety, and accessibility for patients.

A major special project, representing an investment of $550,000, will be unveiled during the Surf and Turf Feast evening..

A feast for a good cause

Subsequently, Ms. Annie Rocheleau, Market Development Director at Desjardins, Caisse de Saint-Eustache—Deux-Montagnes, spoke on behalf of the Caisses Desjardins Laurentides Sud. She also emphasized the importance of supporting local medical innovation so that patients can receive the care they need, close to home and surrounded by their loved ones.
