The Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache is proud to announce that it received a significant charitable bequest of $350,000 yesterday from the estate of Gilles Jetté, who wished to make a positive and lasting impact on his community.

The two liquidators of the succession, Diane D. Lavallée and Serge Constantin, visited the Fondation’s office to officially deliver the donation. Mr. Constantin reflected on Gilles Jetté’s career, a dedicated employee at Terre Constantin since the late 1990s, where he worked as a heavy machinery operator. He stated, “Gilles was a loyal employee, never missing a day of work.”

It was after a medical appointment at Hôpital de Saint-Eustache that Mr. Jetté met Ms. Lavallée. Together, and with the guidance of a planned giving advisor and a notary, they arranged this charitable bequest, a thoughtful gesture in support of the Fondation’s mission.

A Donation That Will Change Lives

This planned donation will allow the Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache to continue acquiring advanced medical equipment, improve the quality of care offered to patients, and meet the growing demands of its hospital.

What is a Planned Donation?

A planned donation is a philanthropic commitment that ensures long-term support for the causes one values. Including a bequest in your will allows you to leave a meaningful legacy and support the community’s well-being for generations to come.
