HOMMAGE : An Emotionally Charged Show to Improve Healthcare in the Lower Laurentians
Join us on Saturday, May 31, 2025, for Hommage, a special benefit performance starting at 3:00 p.m. at the Cégep de Saint-Jérôme Auditorium. This vibrant and poignant event will celebrate human bravery, resilience, and diversity through dance, music, comedy, and visual arts. All proceeds will support the Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache in acquiring advanced medical equipment.
A Rich and Inspiring Program
Hommage will gather an impressive array of artists from the Laurentians region who will deliver heartfelt performances.
Dance: From Contemporary to Disco
Choreographer Caroline Dubreuil leads dancers Annie Baudet, Roxane Dion, Marie-Ève Fournel, and Catherine Mondion in performances that showcase a variety of styles, including contemporary, jazz, disco, and several inspired by the character Wednesday.
The highlight of the show? A lovely duet featuring young Olivier, age 6, and his mother dancing to the song “Flowers.”
Music: Three Voices, One Passion
Three singer-songwriters will take the stage to share their talent and passion. Rosalie Barsalou, Stéphane Lacas, and Number Juan will deliver musical performances that are sure to move the audience.
Humour and Emotion
Comedian Fania Séguin will present a stand-up set that is both touching and funny, inspired by her life with her autistic older brother—a moment that feels both sincere and powerful.
Classical Dance and Art Filled with Hope
The Conservatoire de ballet classique des Laurentides will enrich the program with dances that combine grace and technique, while artist Pier-Alexandre Fontaine, who lives with Parkinson’s disease, will exhibit his artwork, filled with hope.
A Festive Atmosphere for the Whole Family
The event also promises a warm and friendly atmosphere for both kids and adults:
- 🎧 DJ Steve Drapeau will get you dancing to his festive mixes
