Wow! What a success for the 2nd edition of the roadblock held by and for the Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache last Thursday, October 5, at the intersections of Saint-Louis/Saint-Eustache, Gravel/Saint-Laurent and Saint-Laurent/39th Avenue! A total amount of $11,380.50 was raised, which is more than $1,500 more than last year. The weather was on our side, and motorists, not to mention pedestrians, were extremely generous, friendly and grateful!
What a wonderful day it was for all of us! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all the donors and volunteers who gave their valuable time for our cause.
For the occasion, Télévision des Basses-Laurentides (TVBL) produced a short report on the day. (Small correction in the report: Please note that our next fundraising event, the Souper du Président, will take place on January 25 and not May 25).
