A remarkable commitment enabling patients to access essential cancer and hemodialysis care in Saint-Eustache.

The Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache is pleased to announce it has received the final payment of $125,000 from the Fonds du Grand Mouvement Desjardins. This contribution completes the total $500,000 pledge made at the opening of the Desjardins Health Center on December 9, 2019.

The Desjardins Health Center, located at 14 Boulevard Industriel and fully owned by the Fondation, includes the Alain Germain Cancer Center and the Outpatient Hemodialysis Center. These facilities provide essential care to the Lower Laurentians community. This funding will help maintain and enhance the quality of services for patients and their families.

“We sincerely appreciate Desjardins’ partnership and ongoing dedication to our community’s health,” said Lyne Des Trois Maisons, Executive Director of the Fondation. “Every year, these centres play a crucial role in the region:

  • Over 16,900 treatments are provided at the External Hemodialysis Centre.
  • Over 13,800 treatments are given at the Alain Germain Cancer Centre.

Desjardins’ support enables the community to access specialized care locally, significantly improving patients’ and their families’ daily lives.”
