President’s Dinner

The Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache President’s Dinner held on Thursday, January 26, at Fellini Italian Restaurant in Saint-Eustache, raised a net profit of $21,108! The donations received during the event will allow the FHSE to improve access to local medical care for the population of the Lower Laurentians and acquire state-of-the-art equipment for the hospital. The 5-course meal, with food and wine pairings carefully selected by sommelier Patrick Blondin, was a great success for its first edition.

In all, 86 guests from the Lower Laurentians business community and doctors from the Hôpital Saint-Eustache met and raised their glasses to the health of our community. Participants were treated to a wonderful evening and enjoyed delicious food, and privately imported wines, along with a wine auction and gourmet getaways to raise money for the Foundation. Each guest also left with a lemonade box to commemorate the evening. Each year, the event will be held at a different local restaurant. A great way to discover and encourage entrepreneurs and restaurant owners from the region.

The president of the FHSE Board of Directors and of the event’s organizing committee, attorney Pierre Mayer, senior partner at Trivium, was grateful to see so many people attend this new fundraising initiative:

“The loyalty of our participants and our partners is greatly appreciated. I also noticed some new faces among the attendees, and it is always a pleasure to meet people and discover local businesses. This demonstrates, beyond any doubt, the citizens’ attachment to our hospital and its foundation. Thank you all for your support!”

As for the Executive Director of the Foundation, Lyne Des Trois Maisons, she was deeply touched by the involvement of our elected representatives presenting the event:

“The generosity of the people and the partners is overwhelming; I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Benoit Charette, Member for Deux-Montagnes and Mrs. Sylvie D’Amours, Member for Mirabel, as well as to all our partners: Binette Carignan Avocats, Domra Construction inc, Focus Affaires publiques, Guerra Contructions inc, Les Services EXP inc, MNP and RBC. I can never thank you enough, but I think 20,088 times will do!”
