Another Incredible Year for the 7th Annual Festin Terre & Mer!
The Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache is proud to announce that the 7th Annual Terre & Mer Feast, held on Thursday, May 21, raised an impressive $141,796.22!
This must-attend fundraising event, held at the Thérèse-De Blainville Cultural and Community Centre, brought together 336 guests in a warm and festive atmosphere.
An exceptional community effort for an essential cause
Held under the honorary co-chairmanship of Mr. Jean Comtois, Mayor of the City of Lorraine, and Mr. Benoît Proulx, Mayor of the Municipality of Saint-Joseph-du-Lac, this culinary event once again demonstrated the generosity and commitment of our wonderful community.
The funds raised will enable the Fondation to invest in state-of-the-art medical equipment for Hôpital de Saint-Eustache, helping improve the quality of local healthcare services provided to residents of the Lower Laurentians.
The Fondation’s Board Chair, Me. Pierre Mayer, Senior Partner at Trivium Avocats-Notaires-Conseils, once again led the evening’s festivities and wished to thank everyone who answered the call:
“The success of the Terre & Mer Feast is built on the generosity and commitment of our community. Year after year, this event brings together caring people who share the desire to improve the healthcare services available right here in our community. Our heartfelt thanks to all participants, partners and volunteers for their invaluable contribution.”
A memorable evening and an outstanding challenge met
Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, summer soup, a hot and cold buffet, an all-you-can-eat lobster and beef dinner, a variety of sushi, wine with dinner, desserts and coffee, all prepared by Farsa Traiteur.
This year, every guest received a small plant, courtesy of our Gift Sponsors, Métro Plus Arthur-Sauvé and St-Laurent, both located in Saint-Eustache.
The centrepieces, provided by Centre de Jardin Barbe, were also given away to one guest at each table.
In addition, the 50/50 draw held during the evening raised an impressive $14,583, allowing the Foundation and the winning participant, Ms. Isabelle Morissette, to each receive $4,950!
One of the highlights of this year’s event was the Co-Chairs’ Challenge, presented by Le Potager (St-Eustache and Blainville locations). Mr. Proulx ran for the cause on May 8, completing a 12-km route connecting the Saint-Joseph-du-Lac municipal hall to Hôpital de Saint-Eustache and raising an impressive $10,200.
Meanwhile, Mr. Comtois organized an auction featuring autographed items from the Montreal Canadiens. In the midst of the playoffs, participants drove up the bids and gave generously, bringing his fundraising total to $10,255. An exceptional contribution from both of our honorary co-chairs!
Lyne Des Trois Maisons, Executive Director, highlighted the importance of events like this:
“Thanks to your generosity, in 2025 we raised $2,094,766. Our goal for 2026 is to continue going above and beyond for our community. To honour this commitment, in 2026 the Fondation has pledged to fund the renovation of two radiology rooms in Medical Imaging. This replacement will significantly improve service continuity, productivity, the quality of examinations, as well as the experience of patients and staff.
Thank you for helping make this important project a reality through your presence and support! And we have some great news: one of the two rooms will be open by the end of the month, and the other in June.”
A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who took part in this memorable evening!
