On May 31st<\/sup>, at the Externat de Sacr\u00e9-C\u0153ur, the Fondation H\u00f4pital Saint-Eustache was named NPO of the year<\/a> during the Stellar Gala organized by the Chambre de commerce et d’industrie Th\u00e9r\u00e8se-De Blainville (CCITB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our team is extremely proud of this recognition, as it highlights our successes in 2023, a record year for the Fondation in every respect. The Fondation exceeded all net proceeds from its many fundraising events, allowing us to purchase $724,040 worth of equipment for the Hospital. In addition, nearly 16,000 donations were received from generous donors. Overall, the Fondation H\u00f4pital Saint-Eustache raised $1,879,726 in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Manager Lyne Des Trois Maisons was deeply moved and very proud to receive this award. She expressed her gratitude to her entire team, members of the Board, and the Fondation’s volunteers. She added, \u201cI\u2019m so proud! We work hard, we’re dedicated, we’re passionate. I’d also like to congratulate the other finalists, Moisson Laurentides and Music 4 Cancer; their causes are worth investing in. We’re all trying in our own way to change the world. The Fondation H\u00f4pital Saint-Eustache, which unveiled its new identity in 2023, has a significant impact on people’s lives. It serves over 270,000 individuals and contributes around $500,000 annually towards the acquisition of equipment not funded by the Minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9 et des Services sociaux. This new equipment will improve the quality of healthcare provided at the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to our hard work, a new nuclear medicine unit will open in the fall. The Fondation has financed the purchase of the Gamma Camera and its operating equipment, which is worth $1 million. H\u00f4pital de Saint-Eustache was one of the few hospitals without nuclear medical services. Currently, many patients must travel to Saint-J\u00e9r\u00f4me or Montr\u00e9al or extend their hospital stay because the service is not available locally. Thanks to this investment, around 40,000 examinations will be conducted on-site each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
