This donation will be used to purchase 12 pieces of equipment and to improve outreach care for residents of the Lower Laurentians. The equipment includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A portable ultrasound machine for the COPD clinic;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A specialized treatment table for the specialized outpatient clinic;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A vital signs monitor for the Medicine 3e bloc E;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A sequential compression device for physiotherapy;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A vital signs monitor for Medicine 1C;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Four uninterruptible power supply devices for endoscopy;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A medical dryer for the unit\u00e9 de retraitement;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two negative pressure therapy pumps for surgery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mathers Family has been generously supporting the Fondation since its inception in 1990. Their contributions have totaled close to $2 million and have helped the Fondation fulfill its mission for more than 30 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In September 2012, the Mathers family was recognized as a major donor for their significant contribution to the Fondation.
